This unit is a density separation tank utilizing 25° salt solution. Shredded material is fed into the tank for flotation separation and rinsing. An internally mounted paddle roller ensures consistent and uniform material flow throughout the tank. Heavier fractions with a density exceeding 1.25—such as mixed metal-plastic composites and fine plastic impurities—sink and are evacuated by a bottom-mounted screw conveyor. The lighter floating fraction is transported by an upper screw conveyor to a dewatering unit. Upon dewatering, this fraction is then conveyed to a subsequent 13°salt solution separation tank for further processing. Salt solution can be recycled to save production costs.
1. All components in contact with water are constructed from 304 stainless steel.
2. The separation tank measures 8m (L) x 1.300-1.8m(W) x 1.6m (H, water depth).
3. The floating and sinking materials are pushed by screw, which makes the discharging more efficient, less maintenance and high efficiency.
4. Capacity:3-8 T/H
5. Power Consumption:27 kW
6. Sorting Objects:Plastics and metal waste
